Michael Hicks
Chairman

Michael Hicks has over 50 years of City experience which he brings to his role as Chairman of Alexander David Securities. He was Dealing Partner at Simon & Coates Stockbroker, where he worked for 21 years and at Frank H Statham Stockbrokers for 5 years. He joined Prudential Bache as Director of UK Dealing and Risk Management and following that was Director and Head of Sales Trading of Societe Generale Stockbrokers.

He remains active in the City and is a member of the Guild of International Bankers and Freeman of the City of London.

David Scott
Chief Executive and Head of Corporate Finance

David Scott has over 20 years of corporate broking and investment banking experience in advising small and medium sized companies on both the LSE´s Official List and AIM. He has extensive experience in private equity and has also advised many unquoted companies. David began his career in the corporate finance department of L. Messel & Co in 1985.

Previously he was a director of corporate broking at ING Barings, a director of Resolution Partners Limited and Sky Capital (UK) Limited and more recently a Director of Corporate Finance at Lewis Charles.

He is a co-founder of Alexander David Securities.

Trevor Coote
Director and Head of Sales

Trevor Coote has 20 years experience in the stock market. He joined JP Morgan Investment Management in 1987 as an Investment Dealer on the buy side. He was Head Broker at Sky Capital UK and previously trainer and stock picker for Hoodless Brennan, before joining Lewis Charles as Head of Retail Broking.

He is a co-founder of Alexander David Securities.

Alon Bull
Director and Founder

Alon Bull has over 20 years of experience with the financial markets. He joined Winterflood Securities in 1989 and was a Senior Trader in their market making operation. In 2003 he joined Evolution Securities and was Deputy Head of Market Making. He left the City in 2005 to manage his investments and work with a number of developing companies.

He is a co-founder of Alexander David Securities.

Tony Cowling
Non-executive Director

Tony was a founder member of Taylor Nelson in 1965 and has been responsible for building many of the company's specialist divisions and syndicate panel services over the last 35 years. As Chief Executive Tony led the company through the acquisition of AGB in 1992, the merger with Sofres in 1997, the acquisition of many other companies, in addition to significant organic growth, to become the 2nd largest market research company in the world with offices in 70 countries.

Tony stood down as CEO in 2001, but remained as Chairman until 2006 when he retired from the board with the honorary title of President. Tony is also President of Gallup International Association.

Bill Sharp
Head of Institutional Sales

Bill has been a city man for over 40 years and during that time has been involved at senior management level in commodities, futures, currencies and of course equities in such diverse places as Chicago, Kuwait, New York and London. This long career as a stockjobber, stockbroker, fund manager, corporate broker and founder of the London International Financial Futures Exchange has enabled him to build and retain an extensive network of contacts in key international business communities.

Bill was recently appointed a Fellow of The Securities Industry in recognition of his long term contribution to the security markets. Bill has been a borough councillor for over 20 years and is Corporate Governance Officer for a large private group of care homes.
